Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Beat butter until it’s creamy, and then add the sugars and continue mixing until fluffy – then add the eggs and vanilla and mix them to form a uniform mixture.
  • Now, add the flour, salt and baking soda and mix until the dough is well combined.
  • Scoop the dough into small balls and place them 2 inches apart on your baking sheets.
  • Bake at 350°F for 12 minutes, making sure to rotate the pan halfway through. The cookies are ready when the tops turn golden brown.
  • Allow the cookies to cool for 30 minutes before serving.
